Shamshy Gorge Yurt Inn is located at 120 km East of Bishkek. The Shamshy Gorge is famous as one of the most beautiful gorges in the Kyrgyz Range. It is situated at the altitude of 3570m. Through the Gorge, the Shamshy River crashes dramatically from rock to rock. Shamshy Pass, located at the altitude of 3573m, connects the Kochkorskiy and Chuy valleys. Nowadays, many horse trip spass through our gorge en route over Shamshy Pass in the direction of Son-Kul Lake. Variety of vegetation presented here. Slopes are covered with fir forests, dog rose and barberry bushes. We offer one-day and longer adventures - horseback riding trips, trekking and accommodation in Nomad’s Yurt Inn in Shamshy Gorge.
